Hilton New York

Chad and I stayed at the Hilton New York on Avenue of the Americas.  I have stayed here before on other NYC trips and think it is a MUST!  It is an ideal location, located on Ave. of the Americas (6th Ave.), walking distance to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, 5th Ave. shopping, and subway stations are all within a few blocks.  The rooms are not tiny, old, and overpriced like some New York hotels that have the BIG names in the BIG Apple.  Rooms are spacious, clean, and updated.  Service is great and I can't say enough about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.  If this hotel doesn't strike your fancy, there are loads of other great hotels; just ask!

Chad and I always try to stay at Hilton Hotels as we are Hilton Honors members and you get points for each stay and after a certrain number of points, you can exchange them for a FREE night!  If you are not a HH member and love Hilton Hotels, you need to sign up!

This hotel is the ideal NYC hotel and I highly recommend it if you are planning your Big Apple excursion in the near future!
I give it a J J J!

Description Extended

There is so much I wanted to type in the description, but my description was just too long!  Chad suggested that I start a travel blog to share my passion of traveling with others, so here it goes!  Like I mentioned earlier, I am not an expert.  I can't say that enough!  I have had a passion of traveling my entire life and was always planning trips or researching a city just for fun.  There is something about a new city and trip that excites me to no end.  I have often thought about being a travel agent part-time, on the side, during the summers, whatever just because I LOVE TO TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to start with the trips Chad and I took this summer, just because it is "fresh" on my mind.  I will review hotels, restaurants, shopping, site-seeing, etc. that I have found the best or the not so good.

If you are a planning a trip and would like information about that city, ask me, and if I've been there I will write a blog about  "The Best" or the "The Worst" of that city to make your trip one to remember!

I hope you follow along in this journey and support travel's by a (THIS) teacher!

I will write a new entry for each individual item, not just a city, but really break down each trip for readers.  I will rate the item as either Lfor not impressed with or a scale of one to three JJJ with three smiley faces being an absolute, MUST-DO.
